Our Story
The Black Talk Show isn’t just another podcast—it’s a movement. Here’s what makes us stand out:
- Father & Son Duo (2Real): Generational wisdom meets modern perspective. REAL brings lived history, 2REAL brings the digital grind. Together, they bridge the gap.
- Truth Through Reverse Psychology: We flip narratives, exposing how lies have been weaponized against us for 50+ years—and showing steps toward unity and empowerment.
- Cinematic Storytelling: Inspired by Nipsey Hussle and Baldwin, every episode blends raw street truth with poetic, revolutionary energy.
- Cultural Edutainment: More than talk—we fuse history, street culture, and empowerment into engaging, memorable conversations.
- Movement, Not Just Media: From unity challenges to merch drops, we’re building more than listeners—we’re building community.
The Black Talk Show is where truth meets legacy. Where father and son speak so we all rise together.
One of the most powerful moments came during our episode “Weaponized Lies”, where we broke down how white supremacy spends millions promoting gang wars between Black men in South Central Los Angeles. We highlighted the decades-long feud between the 8 Tray Gangsters and the Rolling 60s Crips, showing how both leaders originally stood for unity before outside forces twisted the narrative.
After the episode dropped, listeners reached out saying it changed how they looked at their own neighborhood beefs—realizing they weren’t just “random enemies,” but victims of a system built to keep them divided. Some even told us they replayed the episode for their kids, using it as a teaching moment about history, loyalty, and self-worth.
That episode showed us The Black Talk Show isn’t just conversation—it’s a spark. A spark that pushes people to question lies, reclaim truth, and imagine what unity really looks like.
At The Black Talk Show, everything we create is guided by principles that go beyond talk—they shape a movement:
- Truth: We are committed to exposing hidden truths, breaking down lies, and telling stories the mainstream won’t touch.
- Unity: Our conversations are rooted in building bridges—between generations, between neighborhoods, and within the Black community.
- Empowerment: We use every episode to uplift, inspire self-love, and encourage ownership of our legacy and future.
- Authenticity: No filters, no watered-down narratives—our father-and-son voices keep it real, raw, and relatable.
- Legacy: We create with the next generation in mind, ensuring that wisdom, culture, and history are preserved and passed down.
- Action: Beyond words, we aim to spark real change—whether in mindsets, community building, or grassroots movements.
These values are the backbone of our show, ensuring that every conversation carries weight, impact, and purpose.
The ideal listener of The Black Talk Show is someone hungry for truth and tired of the lies. They’re drawn to real conversations that blend culture, history, and empowerment.
- Interests: Hip-hop, street culture, Black history, community issues, entrepreneurship, and cultural pride. They follow movements that mix activism with creativity and stay tapped into both social media and grassroots conversations.
- Values: Truth, authenticity, unity, legacy, and empowerment. They believe in lifting their people up, honoring their roots, and protecting the next generation.
- Aspirations: To break cycles, build wealth, reclaim identity, and be part of something bigger than themselves. They want to be informed, inspired, and connected—while also laughing, learning, and vibing with content that feels like home.
